Jacob D. Perkins, D.C., ART

Dr. Jacob D. Perkins is a Full Body Certified Active Release Provider (ART), Long Tract Nerve Entrapments and Ironman Care Certified.  Dr. Perkins also is a Certified Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Provider (SASTM).  Dr. Perkins has worked with a wide range of athletes at a variety of levels throughout his career and schooling.  As a former athlete himself, Dr. Perkins understands the needs for training at a high level and quality care. Dr. Perkins is comfortable working with athletes in any sport as well as patients in any walk of life. 

Dr. Perkins grew up in Southeast Juneau, Alaska.  He absolutely loves the beauty of the Northwest landscape.  He is married to the love of his life Annalisa and they are the proud parents of five kids, two boys and three girls, the last two little ones being identical twin girls.  They also have introduced to the family a Labrador Retriever puppy.  They love to be outdoors and spending time together as a family.  Dr. Perkins is also very active as a youth leader in his church and still participates in the Boy Scouts of America.

  1. Rehabilitation and Sports Injury Intern (under former Olympian and Olympic Doctor Dr. Dave Juehring).  Emphasis on Biomechanics and Soft Tissue Related Injuries with Treatments and Rehabilitation.  October 2006 – February 2008.
  2. Preceptorship November 2007-February 2008 with Robert Kaminski, DC, ART Instructor
